ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT
Unlike hot dip galvanising, the Enviralloy ZnNi plating system requires no post plating clean up. In turn, this reduces the negative environmental impact associated with the disposal of clean up waste products.
In addition, it allows your product to be ready for all post plate finishes in a fraction of the time.
SUPERIOR CORROSION PROTECTION
An alloy of zinc and nickel, Enviralloy has been specifically designed to provide increased corrosion resistance in harsh environments.
It has superior white rust and red rust corrosion protection, and due to it’s unique galvanic corrosion mechanism, it out performs alternative zinc-based coatings.
International quality directives prohibiting the use of hexavalent chromates in the plating process has seen zinc nickel alloy plating emerge as the new benchmark in electroplating.
NEUTRAL SALT SPRAY TESTING
Enviralloy produces a uniform nickel content across a wide range of applications.
In comparative Neutral Salt Spray tests, products plated in the zinc/nickel alloy showed consistently better rates of protection when compared to a galvanised product. The passivated deposit provided 1500 hrs of resistance from a 10µ deposit.
